About Dr. Abraham Lincoln Bello

Abraham Amole Oyeyemi Abidemi Bello (born July 15, 1939, Minna, Nigeria) was a devoted educator, a man of deep Christian faith, and a beacon of integrity.

He grew up in a polygamous home, and picked interest in studying the Bible and embracing the Christian faith during his time at Baptist Primary School, Minna. He served at Ahmadu Bello University (1973–2008) in the Departments of Basic Studies & Geography, shaping generations of students.

A deacon at Calvary Baptist Church from 1984, he lived out his faith in service. He married Mrs. Ruth Abebi Bello on December 24, 1967; their children are Prof. Oluwabunmi Abake Chirdan, Pharm. Oloyede Akambi Bello (1992), Dr. Olufunke Asake Ijimakin, and Mr. Oyeyemi Ayinla Bello. He is blessed with eight grandchildren.
